Powder coating - automated & chrome-free sheet metal finishing

We add color to your parts and assemblies. With our innovative powder coating system, we operate with high efficiency, automation, and energy savings. Our system is completely chrome-free and uses the latest technology. Thanks to our in-house powder coating facility, we can also save on packaging materials and transportation costs. Powder coating is a coating process in which an electrically conductive material is coated. We maintain a large powder warehouse with a wide range of RAL colors. We can procure all other colors from our suppliers within a very short time.

What technology is behind it?

All components to be powder-coated must be suspended during the coating process. This means that, depending on their size, one or more holes are required. If the components cannot have holes, suspension tabs can be constructed onto the workpiece, which can be removed after powder coating. We can lift heavy workpieces onto the transport rail using a lifting/lowering station. To protect certain areas of the workpieces from the coating material, it is necessary to carry out masking and covering work. Heat-resistant special plugs are used to mask holes, threads, etc.

After the workpieces have been secured to the hanger, they travel along the conveyor rail to the washing line. There, the entire hanger is chemically treated in a spray chamber using phosphating, meaning it is degreased and cleaned. This process is fully automated and is applied to all materials. After cleaning, steel, EVZ, SVZ, and aluminum are sprayed with a chemical called APNR. This protects the steel components from corrosion, preventing them from starting to rust before the coating is applied. It also increases the adhesion.
